Dealer updated the Sync 3 software to the 19205 version before I replaced the lower USB port. The Sync 3 unit wasn't replaced. Even if something was wrong with the new port, seems like scanning for update with wifi available should be able to update the software. Dec 13, 2017 Update from 2.3 - 3.0 was painless. 15 minutes from inserting USB to completion. Did the following procedure: - Wait for Sync to fully come up - Turn off BT & Wifi - Insert USB and wait-When it finished, turn off car, exit for 10 seconds, restart Instantly noticed the disconnect from AA didn't blast the radio at full volume, which was nice. Visit the SYNC 3 Navigation Update website. Enter your VIN and your Serial Number or ESN. Note: You can find this information on your SYNC screen: Settings General About SYNC. Click on Check Available Updates to get the latest available map data.

I just came across with this website and become very interested about this update.
Long story short:
2015 Ford Focus SE. Originally came with Sync 1.
I did the hardware update to Sync 2 and then to Sync 3 months later.
Im currently running Sync3 v3.0.19205 on a Sync3 NonNav APIM.
Im very interested in upgrading to v3.4 and I want to make sure I do everything according to the instructions provided by you all on the website. I will be using windows 10 and a 32GB Sandisk USB drive for this. I really hope to get this right.
I will really appreciate if you can take a look at my SyncMyRide files and diagnostics and confirm if im in good track for the upgrade this weekend.
My concern is that my Sync 3 APIM seems to be a little bit older so Im unsure if it could take all the files on the USB in order for the update.
